Find a raw variable
Search by name or by what it measures. Names are terse and inconsistent between waves, so searching the label usually works better than guessing the name.
Click a point on the spine above to narrow to one wave.

What is research ready
Each entry is one script that turns raw variables into a single research-ready column β harmonised across sweeps, recoded, and documented. Open one to read the code that produces it, the deposited files it draws on, and the raw variables it needs.
Drag the ones you want into the bundle at the foot of the page β or use the οΌ beside each β and download them as R you can run on your own copy of the data: the runner, its libraries and one script per variable, with a README.
Raw variables go in the same bundle. Search Raw variables and drag those in too β they come out as columns beside the research-ready ones.
Status matters: draft means it has only been checked against fabricated data.
Drag variables here from Raw variables or Research ready, or use the οΌ beside any row. Both kinds go in the same bundle.
